Raiders K Sebastian Janikowski charged with battery, false imprisonment

This will likely have no effect on Sebastian Janikowski's fantasy value for this week, but I'll mention it as a change of pace after writing injury updates for most of the day. The Oakland Raiders kicker has been charged with misdemeanor battery and false imprisonment against a female from an incident that allegedly occurred last year.
According to court documents Syrena Nicholson alleges that Janikowski "did unlawfully violate (her) personal liberty" and "did willfully and unlawfully use force and violence upon (her) person," on Sept. 24, 2010.
A pretrial conference with attorneys for both parties was held Thursday. No trial date has been set. Janikowski faces a maximum of 18 months in jail and a $3,000 fine.

Fantasy Analysis:

Janikowski was a loose cannon earlier in his career, but before this he hadn't been arrested since 2003. No reason for a medal, but it that could make a difference if a suspension comes into play. But we're a long way from that point. Janikowski will be kicking for the Raiders on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills.
