Lions' Calvin Johnson returns to practice Friday, expected to play
Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson missed some practice time earlier this week, but he participated fully in Friday's practice and is expected to play Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs. He has been nursing an ankle injury.
Fantasy Analysis:
I think we've gotten used to Johnson's appearance on the injury report. Maybe it's just me, he seems to be eternally nicked up. However, he plays through the pain much more often than not. He's played in 62 of 65 career games.
After watching how the Bills tore up the Chiefs last week in KC, you have to feel really good about Johnson's potential for week two. He caught six passes for 88 yards and two touchdowns last week. The biggest concern surrounding him in this game is that the Lions may get out to such a big lead they may pull the reins back on the passing game. But if it gets to that point, you have to assume Johnson has already turned in a big fantasy day.
