Cowboys WR Miles Austin likely to play vs. Jets
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin
didn't see much action during the preseason and practiced only in limited fashion this week because of a hamstring injury. However, he is listed as probable on the team's official injury report and said Friday that he's ready for Sunday night's game against the New York Jets.
Fantasy Analysis:
Of course, a No. 1 wide receiver saying he's ready for the Jets better be ready for Darrelle Revis. But unless you are absolutely stacked a WR, I think you have to start Austin if he plays. It's week 1, and you're going to bench a player you selected in the third or fourth round? Don't out-think yourself. Play your studs right now and enjoy the action. With Tony Romo back for the Cowboys, Austin should certainly be considered a receiver more dangerous than the guy we saw for most of last season with Jon Kitna under center.
