49ers WR Michael Crabtree will play versus Seahawks
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree
missed all of the preseason due to a foot fracture. But he returned to practice last week, he practiced in limited fashion for all of this week, and head coach Jim Harbaugh said Friday that he will play Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks. But how much?
"It's part of the plan and part of the scheming of where one receiver helps you, what combination or two or three or four for that particular play," Harbaugh said.
Fantasy Analysis:
There should be no need for you to throw Crabtree out there in week 1. Give him at least a week to work off any rust. Plus, you know, there's Alex Smith. I don't think there is a game this weekend that's more unattractive as a whole from a fantasy standpoint than 49ers-Seahawks. Maybe Browns-Bengals, but it's close call. In this one, I would feel fine starting Frank Gore and Vernon Davis ... and that's about it.
