Though Clinton Portis and the Redskins' running attack have had their moments this season, they have been inconsistent overall and were hoping Thomas would be able to help put over the final stretch. Portis is a RB2 option and he and Ladell Betts could see their fare share of carries in Week 15 as the winds are expected to be howling at Giants Stadium, but they will have their hands full with a stout Giants run defense.
