Colts' injury report: Austin Collie is in; Joseph Addai, Mike Hart are out

When Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Austin Collie @AKCollie_17 underwent thumb surgery during the team's week seven bye, he was expected to be out of action for two-to-six weeks. It looks like Collie's return will coincide with the strict low end of that timetable. Collie went through full practice for the second consecutive day Friday. He was reportedly catching passes at full speed and beat reporters expect him to play at Philadelphia. He is listed as questionable on the injury report. In the running game, Mike Hart @MHart2032 has missed practice all week due to an ankle injury that he suffered Monday night. He is also listed as questionable, but appears much less likely to suit up. With Joseph Addai still out because of a shoulder injury, Donald Brown @Donaldb31 and Javarris James @HurricaneJames5 are expected to fill in the Colts' backfield for week nine.

Fantasy Analysis:

Collie has made a relatively quick recovery and has not been held back in the past two days. He is reportedly catching bullet passes and that thumb seems to be holding up well. With Pierre Garcon back in the lineup, it shouldn't be expected that Collie will repeat his early season numbers. But he is certainly worth deploying in three-WR leagues. Hart would have drawn a second consecutive start, but the ankle injury was too much. He may return for next week's game versus Cincinnati. Brown is off the injury report, so he will likely get the first snaps with James sprinkled in. The matchup against the Eagles isn't great as Philly's defense has restricted Frank Gore, Michael Turner and Chris Johnson to less than 80 rushing yards in their past three games. But with so many big-name runners on bye, Brown is a decent flex option. James is a last-ditch choice.
