Packers' Aaron Rodgers good to go; Donald Driver added to injury report
With all of the injury concerns the Green Bay Packers have heading into Sunday's game against Miami, it has to be a relief that quarterback Aaron Rodgers
won't be one of them. Unfortunately, wide receiver Donald Driver
is a new one.
Rodgers practiced Friday for the second consecutive day without limitations. He is officially listed as probable to face the Dolphins. Head coach Mike McCarthy said he thinks Rodgers is ready to play unless he suffers a setback.
Driver is also listed as probable with a quad injury, but it's apparently an ailment that cropped up in the past day and forced him to sit out practice today.
Driver and Rodgers are two of 11 starters on the Packers' injury report and that's without inclusion of tight end Jermichael Finley and linebacker Nick Barnett. Finley is likely out for the season due to a knee injury while Barnett was placed on injured reserve Friday because of a wrist injury. His season is over.
Fantasy Analysis:
Rodgers should be fine and in your lineups. The matchup isn't fantastic, but that shouldn't stop you.
I understand Driver will most likely play. But you never like to see players added to the injury report Friday. He may not be 100 percent come Sunday. Given that, the absence of Finley and Greg Jennings
' public cry for more targets, look for Jennings to have a nice game in week six.
